The refresher programme covers all core topics required for child first aid proficiency in a condensed format, reinforcing critical knowledge and practical skills for experienced first aiders.

The programme refreshes participants on the duties and responsibilities of a first aider, management of casualties with airway obstruction, applying first aid to injured victims in school or public settings, management of medical emergencies, management of common childhood illnesses, performing resuscitation for child and infant victims, and management of casualties with trauma injuries. Participants will also undergo reassessment in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED), with practical competency evaluation to ensure continued readiness.

Upon successful completion, participants will receive a renewed Child First Aid (CFA) certificate accredited by SRFAC, valid for two years from the date of completion.
